Who We Are
Lafayette Community Bank was founded in November 2000 by a group of local business people who realized the need for a true local community bank to service the Greater Lafayette Community. That idea has grown to four locations in the Greater Lafayette Area that now employs over 40 local residents. Our intial location located at 2 North 4th Street, that originally housed 4,000 sq. ft. of office space has grown to 12,000 sq. ft. Our three remote branches are still run by the managers that originally opened them up. We continue to add to our loan offerings and are a SBA approved bank. Customers are our first priority, and we are proud of our consultative approach to banking. When you choose to bank with Lafayette Community Bank, you will receive the following:
- Local Ownership and Board of Directors
- Local Decisions
- Staff that live and work in your community
- Staff that takes the time to know you and your needs
- Phone calls answered personally by staff, and not an automated system
- The ability to speak with anyone at the bank
- Complete line of services, such as Online Banking and Bill Pay
- Services associated with a local bank, including our Holiday Savings Account
- A full line of Deposit and Loan Products
