Community Rewards Program

Introduction

Thank you for your interest in the Lafayette Community Bank Community Rewards Program. When your supporters open eligible accounts and select your school or charity, Lafayette Community Bank will donate 1/8% of their average daily balance to your organization, plus $5 for each new partipant who enrolls in the program. We appreciate your help in promoting the Lafayette Community Bank Community Rewards Program, and we want to help you be successful. The following sections outline some “Tips For Success”.

Tips for Success

Getting Started

Media and Public Relations

Marketing professionals agree that media is the most cost effective means of reaching an audience. One of your first promotional efforts should be sending a press release to your local media (i.e., newspapers, radio stations, and local journals.) Your local Chamber of Commerce is also an excellent communication tool.

Newsletters and Publications

The most important part of promoting your participation in newsletters and other publications is consistency. First, prepare an initial article to promote your organization’s participation and generate excitement. It is also important to incorporate your participation into every issue of your newsletter. We find that a simple and non-intrusive statement at the bottom of each of your publications such as, "Remember to do all your banking at Lafayette Community Bank and generate donations to our organization.”

Point-of-Purchase Promotions

If your school or non-profit organization has significant "foot traffic," such as a museum or a school, point-of-purchase promotions such as flyers and posters are a great way to generate interest and support. Free posters and other point-of-purchase promotions are available from Lafayette Community Bank. Call us at (765) 429-7200 for more information.
