Report Fraud or Identity Theft
Keeping your online financial and personal information secure and confidential remains one of our top priorities. Identity Theft occurs when someone uses your personal information such as your name, Social Security Number, credit or debit card number, or other identifying information, without your permission, to commit fraud or other crimes. Despite all efforts to prevent it, identity fraud can still occur. The earlier it is detected, however, the swifter we can help you take action to stop it.

To report a lost or stolen Visa Debit Card outside of normal business hours, please call 800-264-4274 and select Option 3.
Consumer protection under Reg E
The maximum liability for consumer accounts under federal law for unauthorized use of your credit or debit card is $50, when the fraudulent activity is reported in a timely manner. You must notify us promply of a lost ATM or debit card to limit your liablility.
Your liability depends on how quickly the loss is reported. You risk unlimited loss by failing to report an unauthorized transfer within 60 days after your bank statement containing the unauthorized use is mailed to you.
Other steps you can take
- Report theft to the Federal Trade Commission

- Contact your local police department to file a criminal report
- Close any accounts that have been tampered with or established fraudulently
- Report identity theft to the three major credit reporting agencies
- Request that they place a fraud alert and a victim's statement in your file
- Request a FREE copy of your credit report to check whether any accounts were opened without your consent
- Request that they agencies remove inquiries and/or fraudulent accounts stemming from the theft
- Document the names and phone numbers of everyone you speak with regarding the incident.
- Follow-up your phone calls with letters. Keep copies of all correrspondence.
- If you have responded to a phishing attempt, change your passwords
- Keep a list of all your card numbers and phone numbers in case of theft, so that you can notify each card issuer immediately if theft occurs.
