President's Letter
Actions speak louder than words. When we say we are completely invested in your hometown, it's not just a slogan. We are building on the commitment of Lafayette Community Bank's people, who all live in the very community they serve.
When you do business with Lafayette Community Bank, you're doing business with a bank that has a vested interest in the long-term prosperity of you and your community on a level no other bank can surpass.
We started our local bank in 2000. Since that time, we have invested millions of dollars in our community in the form of personal and business loans. We've also provided value added consultation to the customers we serve. In the last four years alone, we have loaned nearly $90,000,000 back into our community. We are just warming up. We have the tools and expertise to respond to your financing needs. Collectively, our lenders have over 100 years of bank experience. With Lafayette Community Bank, you are talking directly to decision makers, all of whom live and work right here. In addition, our board of directors is made up of local business owners. They understand our community and our business dynamics and, most of all, they are committed to the prosperity of the greater Lafayette Community.
You may have noticed our main office design on our web site. We plan to make another investment in our downtown community . . . a new 17,000 square foot corporate office. We plan to move from our current location at 2 North 4th Street to our new location at the corner of South and 3rd Streets in downtown Lafayette in the summer of 2013! We are investing in our community and our customers. This will be a state of the art banking facility with the latest technology. We will have 38 parking spaces on site, with wider and more convenient drive up lanes, all for our customers. Our visibility and access will be much improved. Look for the latest updates of our building progress on our web site.
When you do business with Lafayette Community Bank, you will notice a difference. Our tellers and banking center managers will know your name. When you call us, we will pick up the phone. We really care about you. Without you, we don't have a business. So stop by. Call us. Give us a chance to back up our slogan . . . Lafayette Community Bank, Completely Invested in Your Hometown!
Truly,
