About ATM and Debit Card Protection:

Using your ATM or Debit card is an easy way to get cash, check balances, transfer funds and make purchases.

Following some simple guidlines for ATM and Debit card transaction can help protect you from fraud and identity theft.

Treat your card like cash. Always store your card in a safe place.

Keep your PIN secret. Memorize your PIN. Never write it on your card or store it with your card. Never let someone else enter your PIN for you. Do not give your PIN over the phone or through email.

Block the view of others when entering your PIN. Shield the PIN pad when entering your PIN to prevent others from observing it.

Never disclose your PIN or card number in response to an unsolicited email or phone request. Fraudsters may initiate requests for PIN or card numbers and make these request seem urgent. We will never ask you to provide your PIN or complete card number.

Do not let your card out of your site when purchasing goods or services. The information on the card may be "skimmed" or copied electronically so that fraudlent cards can be created with your information.

Report a lost or stolen card at once. Contact us immediately if you lose your card or it is stolen to reduce the chance that it will be used improperly. Prompt reportin will also limit your potential liability for unauthorized transactions.

Sign all ATM, debit cards and credit cards immediately upon receipt.

Destroy unused or expired ATM, debit and credit cards.
